Mark Ohashi
Founder & President

Mark Ohashi Founder and President of Seattle Style Remodel brings over 15 years of knowledge and experience in the home remodeling field. As an entrepreneur at heart, Mark started Seattle Style Remodel after a successful career as a hairdresser for over 30 years. He began in the remodeling business by flipping houses, learning the trade along the way. Mark serves as “The Boss” at Seattle Style Remodel, handling client meetings, estimates, contract acceptance, and project management from start to finish. His ultimate goal is to ensure every client's dream remodeling project is completed on time and within budget. Outside of work, Mark enjoys playing golf, hitting the gym, and cherishing his role as a loving granddad.

James Ohashi
Estimator & Project Manager

With over eight years of experience, James Ohashi is a valuable member of Seattle Style Remodel. As an Estimator and Project Manager, he meets potential clients, provides detailed estimates, and manages customer contracts, ensuring successful project execution. James previously worked at Dun & Bradstreet and Zillow, gaining expertise in sales and service. Since returning to Seattle Style Remodel, he has successfully managed larger projects, exceeding expectations with his strong work ethic and commitment to customer service. Outside of work, James cherishes family time with his wife and three boys, and enjoys activities such as golfing and going to the gym, maintaining a balanced lifestyle.

Val Russu

Val Russu, is an invaluable asset to the team. With over 15 years of collaboration, 30 years of remodeling expertise, and a diverse skill set, Val's contributions are immeasurable. Val is a true jack of all trades, capable of handling any task thrown his way. His wealth of knowledge and passion have played a significant role in establishing Seattle Style Remodel as one of the region's most successful remodeling companies. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Val has a deep love for soccer and is a devoted family man. Additionally, he possesses an impressive musical talent and can effortlessly play songs like "Blowin' in the Wind" in Ukrainian on his guitar.

Jun Davenport
Operations Manager

Jun Davenport, has been an invaluable member of the team for over three and a half years. Often referred to as the "Elmer's Glue," Jun ensures smooth operations and keeps the entire office cohesive. With over 20 years of experience in language-related IT fields, Jun has even worked as an interpreter. Having worked closely with Mark for an extended period, Jun has become a reliable source of information, akin to a virtual assistant, readily providing answers and recalling details. Her passion for helping others and meticulous attention to detail contribute to Seattle Style Remodel success. Outside of work, Jun engages in art therapy with individuals living with dementia and stays active through activities like Tai chi and swimming.


Joel Hess
Growth & Business Development Advisor

Joel Hess, a seasoned professional with 25 years of sales and operational management experience, serves as the Growth and Business Development Advisor at Seattle Style Remodel. He excels in devising innovative strategies to drive sales, revenue, and employee engagement. Beyond his advisory role, Joel is a respected speaker on topics like business development, team building, and process optimization. He takes pride in assisting leaders in fortifying their organizations and making informed decisions. Outside of work, Joel is an ardent supporter of Wisconsin sports, rooting for teams like the Badgers, Brewers, and Packers. He also indulges in his passion for music and movies, embracing the art forms with enthusiasm.

Mike Jones

Mike Jones, a licensed architect with 35 years of experience, has been an integral part of Seattle Style Remodel for three years. Previously, he served as a principal at JPC Architects, specializing in commercial architecture and interiors for over two decades. With expertise in project management, design, and construction, Mike has successfully handled diverse projects across multiple states and provinces. His extensive knowledge spans various domains, including commercial, industrial, residential, retail, hospitality, nautical, and entertainment. Outside of work, Mike finds joy in spending time with his family and caring for their array of animals on their 3.4-acre farm. Additionally, he indulges in brewing beer and engaging in DIY projects, such as building chicken coops or She Sheds.

Kristin Boston
Interior Designer

With over 25 years of experience as an Interior Designer in the Seattle area, Kristin Boston brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her clients. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from Washington State University, ensuring top-notch service. Kristin's passion lies in crafting personalized designs that reflect her clients' unique styles. Whether it's a kitchen, bathroom, or whole-house remodel, she offers comprehensive services tailored to meet their needs. From cabinet layouts to color selections, countertop options to flooring choices, and lighting fixtures to more, Kristin covers it all. For the past three years, Kristin has been an integral part of Seattle Style Remodel, dedicated to surpassing customer expectations. With her meticulous attention to detail and expertise, she is prepared to help you design a space that truly embodies your individuality.

Roman Rivera

Roman grew up in the Tri-Cities, a small community east of the mountains on the outskirts of Washington state and now makes his home in Seattle. He is a lifestyle, product, architectural, and fashion photographer who absolutely loves his job and everything that comes with it. He appreciates the people, the places, the hours, the blood, the sweat, the tears, and the spontaneity of every single shot he takes.

Lisa Williams
Digital Marketing Director/CMO

Lisa is our expert digital marketer and fractional CMO, specializing in branding and custom marketing strategies. With a dedicated team, she crafts personalized marketing campaigns that tap into the emotions of our target audience, ensuring a direct connection. Lisa's unmatched passion for the psychology of marketing enables her to build strategies that truly resonate with people. She embraces the digital nomad lifestyle, indulging her love for travel and experiencing new locations worldwide. Alongside her adventures, she finds joy in cooking, baking, and admiring sunsets and puppies.
